User account management

Creating an account

To create an account :

• Click on ⏻ in the menu.
• Click on the Create a new account link.
• Enter your user name in the Name field. This field is mandatory.
• Enter your e-mail address in the E-mail field. This field is mandatory.
• Enter a password for your account in the Password field. This field is mandatory and must contain at least 8 letters or numbers.
• Click on the Create button.

Logging in to your account

To log in to your account :

• Click on ⏻ in the menu.
• Enter your user name and password.
• Click on the Connection button.

Changing your language

To permanently change the language of your account :

• Log in to your account if you are not connected yet.
• Click on Your Name in the menu.
• Select the desired language from the Language list.
• Click on the Update button.

Changing your password

To change your account password :

• Log in to your account if you are not connected yet.
• Click on Your Name in the menu.
• Enter a new password in the New password field.
• Re-enter the new password in the Confirmation field.
• Click on the Update button.

Lost password

If you have lost your password :

• Click on ⏻ in the menu.
• Click on the Password lost link.
• Enter your e-mail address in the E-mail field.
• Click on the Get new password button.
• An e-mail will be sent to you with a new password.

Logging out of your account

To log out of your account while you are logged in :

• Click on the ⏻ button in the menu.

Map management

To manage your maps :

• Click on Manage in the menu.
• The list of cards in your account will be displayed.
• You can then create, modify or delete maps...

Creating a new map

To create a new map :

• Click on the Create a new map link below the list.
• Enter a name for the map in the Name field. This field is mandatory.
• Enter a description for the map in the Description field. This field is optional.
• Check the Private box to make this map visible only to you once you are logged in.
• Enter a password for the map in the Password field only if you want the card to be visible only to certain people. You will need to pass this password along with the card ID to these people. Please note ! Do not enter your account password here.
• Click on the Create the map button.
• The Update an existing map page will be displayed with the new map.

Updating a map

To update a map :

• Click on the Update link to the right of the card chosen from the list on the Manage screen.
• The Update an existing map page is then displayed.
• Modify the zones at the top of the page and then click on the Update button.
• Center and zoom the map in the area to be managed then click on the Update map coordinates button to change the default view of the map.

Adding a new marker

To add a position on the map :

• Click at the desired position on the map.
• A window appears with the parameters of the position.
• Enter a name for the position in the Name field. This field is mandatory.
• Enter a description for the position in the Description field. This field is optional.
• Enter a link to a web site page (https://...) in the Lien field. This field is optional.
• Choose an icon for the position in the Icon list.
• Click on the Add button.
• The new position is added on the map.

Updating a marker

To update a position on the map :

• Click on the position you want to edit on the map.
• A window appears with the parameters of the position.
• Change the name of the position in the Name field. This field is mandatory.
• Change the description of the position in the Description field. This field is optional.
• Change the link of the position in the Lien field. This field is optional.
• Choose another icon for the position in the Icon list.
• Click on the Update button.
• The position is updated on the map.

Removing a marker

To remove a position from the map :

• Click on the position on the map that you want to remove.
• A window appears with the parameters of the position.
• Click on the Remove button.
• The position is then removed from the map.

Viewing maps

Public maps

To view public maps :

• Click on Maps in the menu.
• The list of public maps is displayed.
• Click on the name of a map to view it.

Private maps

To view private maps :

• Click on Maps in the menu.
• The list of public maps is displayed.
• If you are logged in, your private and restricted maps are also displayed.
• Click on the name of a map to view it.

Maps with restricted access

To view restricted maps :

• Click on Maps in the menu.
• The list of public maps is displayed.
• Under the list, in the Restricted map section :
  • Enter the card's ID in the Map identifier field.
  • Enter the password for the card in the Map password field.
  • Click on the Show map button.
  • Try with :
    • Identifier : 2
    • Password : pass
